So I was just changing Lia's diaper as Jacob watched earlier this morning.
J: "wook Mom...E-ah wost her TT"
Me: "no, Lia is a girl, she doesn't have a TT like you"
J: "yes, Mom, we need to find it"
J: "Mom - where is your TT?"
I have a feeling we've just started the "interesting" conversations we'll have to have with out kids. At least at this point the questions are easy to answer - I know one day things will be a little more complicated to explain. For now I'm going to appreciate the innocence.

He was just worried abut sis, mom! Lookin' out for her already!! Too FUNNY!! ;-)
Ohhhh, it does start to get more complicated, and my oldest is only 7.... what's next? He is looking out for little sis though, isn't he.
HEHE! Funny! Yes, pretty easy now, but get used to it & if you start answering now, it won't be as big a deal later!
No baby sisters here, but I have a feeling I'm going to have to start being more "modest" around the boys. They get more curious by the day. And I just don't have the energy to figure out a way to explain it. Ha. BTW- Where did "TT" come from? That is so cute.
@ Lani - "TT" is what we always said when I was growing up so when we started potty training Jacob we just called his "unit" a "TT". I guess I always assumed that was what every family called it. This could be an interesting discussion. ;)
Wonder what other families say? Anyone care to respond? ;)
Okay, TT is a first for me, but to each their own...;o). I just wanted to add, the conversations just get better!!! Have fun!
CUTE story...sounds like it could get interesting around there in the next few years... :)
OhhhH! Welcome to the world of hard questions and creative answers! :)
Btw- we call it a "peepee" and "teetee" (tinkle) is what they say when they have to go potty (or they just say "Gotta go potty!").
We get interesting questions like that too.. esp after Keagan was born at home because he is not circumsized- so Nolyn wondered why his looked different.
We've had the "parts are different between a girl and boy" conversation several times.. and I'm sure we'll have it several more!
Lately I've had to teach the kids to be careful where they touch- because sometimes they'll playfully hit me in the chest, or dad in the... um, parts.. so we have had to discuss these issues! NOT FUN, but necessary!
And so it begins. ; ) The joys and challenges of parenting.
