2nd Birthday Party with friends

We had a small party for Jacob at our house last night with a couple of other families in the area. Jacob had a blast with all his friends...he hardly knew what to do with all the commotion. After eating and playing outside he FINALLY got to get into his "fish cake" (cupcakes with tropical fish on them). Then he got to see what kind of new loot he received...about 25,000 cars, trucks, etc. ;) He thought it was great - nothing he likes more than anything with wheels! We all had a great time.

Happy 2nd Birthday Jacob!

My BABY!?! Where did he go?? He left and this cute little toddler took his place. I can hardly believe it's been 2 years since he was born. The memory of that day is as clear to me now as if it was yesterday. I had no clue then how much love my heart could hold for such a tiny little boy. He's had our hearts wrapped around his little finger...and always will.

My Favorite TX nephews

Just thought I should put up a few pictures of my favorite TX nephews. Jacob and I have lots 'o fun playing with them. For some reason when I was taking these pictures Trace was in rare form...he was being quite the comedian while Trevin was more serious than he usually is. When I get some more pictures from Lesha I'll post those also. Until then, enjoy these. ;)

Our 5th Anniversary

Where have the years gone?
It seems like it was only yesterday David and I were starting our life together. Now we've blinked our eyes twice and 5 years have passed, we've had a son, and we have a daughter on the way. How can this be?

Weekend In Louisiana

We had a great time this past weekend with our friends Shauna & Jay and their 2 little boys. The "Big Boys" had a good time out on the lake while us girls had a good time yacking and watching the little boys play. Sunday was potluck after mtg. and more playing outside with Lane and Bryce's cousins Gavin and Gannon. There was one little girl in the bunch (Elizabeth) and she did a mighty fine job keeping up with all the boys!

Of course all the pictures in the slide show are of the boys (this post is really for the grandmothers) but the rest of you can enjoy looking at what cute little dudes we have. They make our hearts smile. ;)

It's A Girl!

Yes, yes, it's true...a little girl is on her way! No one could possibly be more shocked than I was! She's quite an active little thing too...we've had our "Little David" and now I have a feeling a "Little Kristen" will be ariving. Before anyone starts asking about names...Gertrude Agnes S. is what our answer will be! (G.A.S. makes for great initials don't you think?) That's our story and we're sticking to it...until September anyway.
