New Title

EDD for Jacob's new brother/ sister is Sept. 15th. I'm thinking the 12th sounds good as that's David's birthday. Awesome people are born that day! ;)

"Cash Guck"

Jacob is infatuated with the trash truck! It is now a ritual for us to go to the window and watch the trash men pick up the trash from the houses arcross the street every Wednesday morning. After each load Jacob says "nite nite cash". Just what every mother spends her time day dreaming about right?? Now every time Jacob hears a vehicle go by our house he waves toward the direction of the sound and says "cash guck, nite nite cash".

"Wardrobe Malfunction"

Jacob is prone to "wardrobe malfunctions" due to his small stature (aka scrawny tail)...when I don't put a belt on him, this is what happens. Poor thing can't help it he inherited his Papa C. and Uncle Brad's ummm....lack of back side. ;)

East Texas "Snow"

We had our "snow storm" of the winter the other day. Out of no where we started hearing what sounded like golf balls hitting the house...

Weekend with Jay & Shauna

"Make new friends, but keep the old. For one is silver, the other gold."
We had a great time with Jay and Shauna last weekend. Shauna and I were very good friends when we were younger, but circumstances in life caused us to drift apart for a while. We hadn't seen or really talked to each other for almost 10 years until I moved back to Texas. It has been great re-kindling our friendship again. In those 10 years we've both gotten married and had sons so now we REALLY can have good times getting our boys together. Even though Jacob is a little younger than Lane & Bryce, he had a great time following them around and copying them. He's still falling down on his bean bag like they did! The V. family got to our house Friday night then Sat. we spent the day in Canton (Brad, Lesha, and boys were with us too). Sat. night we all went out to Clear Springs for some great TX food then they had to leave. The weekend went by way to fast. We're looking forward to seeing them again.

1st Blow Pop

Jacob ate his first Blow Pop the other day. I got it as a "gift" from the bank so I decided to give it to him. Needless to say he loved it...and the red looked really good on his shirt. ;)
