uuummmmm...now for the sweet part!
The obligatory cousin photo...where it is absolutely impossible to get all 4 kids to look half-way normal all at the same time...not gonna happen. I'd like to send a big thank-you to Crystal for teaching Jacob the "thumbs in your ears" trick. That's Klass with a capital K! ;)
OK...so we'll try this again behind Lia's cake. Yeah, had pretty much the same luck. But, really, we hadn't gotten our hopes up to high that everyone would cooperate at the same time. Oh well...they're still such cuties! Crazy faces and all.
So, we'll move on to the family shots. Ohh...look...Brad's family looking good!
My family...not so much. Do you think we could get ONE picture with every one looking normal?? So, you get to laugh at all of these. That bottom one cracks me up every time I see it. I think I'm going to print it and have it handy for days I need a "pick-me-up". My girl does look pretty sweet though.
and finally...time to dig in!
uuummm...sweetness

Sweetness indeed. Backyard birthdays are the best, and never complete without the funny faces!
I was gonna say 'sweetness indeed' also :)

Dear Candid Kristen,
I LOVE them... the last one is so funny and sweet at the same time.

I love the photos...they're so much better when the true personalities shine through! You're right...that bottom one is hilarious. The black and whites are priceless of the birthday girl.
What a fun party! Thanks for sharing some of the fun with us.
I love your NORMAL pictures! I've quit trying to get the 'perfect' picture and started loving NORMAL!
Lia's cake looks SO yummy - is that strawberries or raspberries in the icing?!
Looked like a lot of fun for the kids and the adults. Wish we could've been there.
Lynisha - the icing on the outside of the cake was butter cream icing mixed with pureed strawberries! It was AWESOME! It was a 4 layer cake and between each layer was a strawberry filling of some kind. Yeah, to die for!
