I love this photo...Lia was upset so Papa reached out to her. I used to be his only "baby girl", but now I think I share that title. That's OK though, I don't mind.
So sweet! I have photos of my dad holding Emmalee's hand when she was just a newborn. I don't mind sharing the title of "favorite girl" either! Just wait until she's bigger! That big hand is going to be wrapped around her little finger!
"Put your hand in the hand of the one who stilled the waters." I'm sure you've heard the song. Grandparents seem to have that knack to calm little ones aches and pains and tempers (ha). What a neat picture...but you've always been a good photographer.
What a fantastic picture. It captures so much with out saying a word. The comparison of size, the gentle touch, the unspoken love. Very touching photo!

Sweet picture, Why not send her with your Mom at T'giving? Oh yeah, breast milk.
What a neat picture! Looks like she's already got G'pa wrapped around her finger!
How sweet!! Funny how they can wrap you around their finger so fast, isn't it? :)
Aw! What a sweet picture!
My sweet husband's hand to my sweet granddaughter's hand. They both make my smile. Nana

Nothin' better than Daddy's hands. Sweet capture.
I must echo others' sentiments here...you are an excellent photographer (not just this photo, either) and this is just precious!
