8th Anniversary

The kids and I just got back from a trip with my parents at 1:30 this morning...to say that I'm exhausted and overwhelmed is an understatement. There is much catching up to do on this blog but I didn't want today to go by without acknowledging a very important milestone in my life...another wedding anniversary. Where have the years gone? So...happy anniversary to us! We've now spent 4 years as a married couple in FL and 4 years as a married couple in TX. I wonder where we'll be 4 years from now? ;)

I Don't Wanna Forget...

*J calls himself "Gay-Cub".

*J calls Lia "Weah Manay".

*The first 15 minuets of every day is spent holding Lia in my bed.

*J says "Good Mornin' Sunshine Weah Manay" when he sees Lia for the first time of the day.

*J: "where the moon come from Mom"
K: "God put the moon in the sky"
J: "God poo-pooed in the sky?"

*The way Jacob RUNS to me and says "Momma's home!" after I've been out of the house for a while.

*The sound of J & L's laughter when they are playing together.

*The way J's face lights up when Daddy gets home from work.

*The sight of David playing with J & L.

*The way L wrinkles her nose when she's super happy.

*Lia's "troll" face

*J: I'm gonna be a Daddy tomorrow
K: are you going to have a son or a daughter?
J: I'm gonna have a Weeah - she's sweet

* J pronounces accident "ask-a-dent"

*L took her first 2 steps at G'town convention

*J says "frige-friger" for refrigerator

*L says "chocca-chocca" for train

*J says "eleck-trickity" for electcicity

*J wears his "shin gardens" to soccer

*L has to use "Det-it-tun" (Desitin)

*L calls flip-flops "Bop-Bop's"

*J & L are completely enamored by their new baby brother.
