We had a great time with Jay and Shauna last weekend. Shauna and I were very good friends when we were younger, but circumstances in life caused us to drift apart for a while. We hadn't seen or really talked to each other for almost 10 years until I moved back to Texas. It has been great re-kindling our friendship again. In those 10 years we've both gotten married and had sons so now we REALLY can have good times getting our boys together. Even though Jacob is a little younger than Lane & Bryce, he had a great time following them around and copying them. He's still falling down on his bean bag like they did! The V. family got to our house Friday night then Sat. we spent the day in Canton (Brad, Lesha, and boys were with us too). Sat. night we all went out to Clear Springs for some great TX food then they had to leave. The weekend went by way to fast. We're looking forward to seeing them again.
